Provides clothing assistance. No fee for clothing if referral from a DHHR worker, community agency, church or professional who can verify the need for services. Reduced cost without referral. Also offers resource coordination and plan of action to help individuals determine needs and establish goals to become self-sufficient. Additional assistance includes household items, furniture and appliances, cleaning and personal hygiene supplies, as supplies exists. If appliance or furniture assistance is requested and not currently available, those in need will be placed on waiting list to be contacted when resources become available. Assistance in locating additional resources also available.

DHHR can provide clothing vouchers for purchase of children’s clothing. Sign-up for clothing vouchers begins in July. Must meet income eligibility requirements. Will also supply clothing vouchers and other support services for adults preparing to attend work or school. Must be currently receiving or having received Temporary Assistance For Needy Families (TANF) benefits within the last six (6) months.

Baby clothing and accessory pantry, weekly on Wednesday, from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. Assistance includes clothing for children 0 to 5 years of age, accessories such as cribs and car seats, as items are available, diapers and wipes are usually available. Also partners with WIC to provide baby formula, baby food, and milk. Must meet WIC income guidelines and criteria to receive food and formula. Call to confirm they are open before visiting. No fee for services.

No referral needed for clothing. Utility assistance is available 1 time a year per family. Referral from DHH, number of persons in home and proof of income are needed. A $25.00 payment will be made directly to utility company on behalf of persons requesting assistance.

A $25.00 assistance will be given once a year. Must have DHHR or Multi-CAP referral for utility assistance. Call for utility information on utility assistance.
