SUMMARY:
Technical assistance grants are designed to build organizational
capacity and to help train board and/or staff in organization building
skills including, but not limited to: leadership development;
fundraising and planned giving; board responsibilities and roles;
long-range planning; financial management/planning; legal issues, such
as nonprofit incorporation; community organizing; informing
community/media about work; and trainer's fees, materials and travel.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
Nonprofit organizations in parts of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West
Virginia (all counties are eligible), Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. Please see the following
