It includes a choice of benefit package (Basic or Enhanced), encourages personal responsibility, and provides care coordination for its members through the members medical home. Prescriptions under this plan are limited to four a month.

Medicare approved discount prescription drug discount card service. Available to all Medicare beneficiaries, except those who have outpatient RX drug benefits under the WV Medicaid program. $30.00 annual membership fee.If low income guidelines are met, users may be eligible for a $600.00 credit through membership to help pay for prescriptions as well as pay for annual enrollment fee of $30.00. Credit is NOT available to hose who have WV Medicaid drug benefits, TRICARE, or FEHBP.

MedSaverCard can be used for West Virginia residents but is designed especially for: Patients without prescription drug coverage, patients with drug insurance that doesn't cover certain medications, Medicare patients in the "donut-hole" and pet owners (for drugs that can be purchased at regular pharmacies).

West Virginia RX is a program that provides prescription drugs at no cost to patients who are uninsured, between the ages of 18-65. West Virginia RX assists staff and other advocates in speeding up the process of obtaining much needed medication. Mose prescriptions are filled and mailed from the central pharmacy, located in Charleston, WV. Others come from pharmaceutical companies.
