Central West Virginia Aging Services Inc. is a home and community based services program designed to help elderly and disabled persons to stay in their own homes rather than going to a nursing home. Individuals 18 years of age and over and elderly individuals who are a resident of any West Virginia county, medically in need of nursing home care but wanting home care and meeting financial guidelines are eligible for services. A Case Manager is assigned to individuals to assess needs and broker all resources and services needed to fulfill needs. Medical equipment, indigent prescriptions, Veterans in-home services, Workers Compensation in-home service and older worker training program also available.

Fayette County Senior Program offers on-site meals, home delivered meals, respite care, health information, planned activities, shopping trips, and caregiver support groups. In addition, the Fayette County Senior Program provides counseling and financial aide to individuals needing assistance with medical and medication needs.
