Central West Virginia Aging Services, Inc. is a home and community based services program designed to help elderly and disabled people to stay in their own homes rather than going to a nursing home. Individuals 18 years of age and over and elderly individuals who are a resident of any West Virginia county, medically in need of nursing home care but wanting home care and meet financial guidelines are eligible for services. A Case Manager is assigned to individuals to assess needs and broker all resources and services needed to fulfill needs. Medical equipment, indigent prescriptions, Veterans in-home services, Workers Compensation in-home service and older worker training program are also available.
